The original website was a hot mess x10!
This is honestly a bit of an understatement, as the website was actually a hotmess x 10! When Courtenay first came to me, I wanted to cry at the state of her current website. She had spent too much money on an "established" design firm and the result looked like a high school project gone wrong. When I logged in to take a look around the back end, things did not get any better.
Proof that while anyone technically can build a website, not everyone knows how to do it well.
We started from scratch and in a few months Courtenay finally had a website that felt like her. Over the years as her business has grown, shifted and changed, we have done quite a few refreshes, each new look representing Courtenay where she is today with her business and where she is going next. These refreshes, were just that. There is no need to start from scratch again when you have a solid foundation that is well maintained.
The Priorities:
- Rebuild her original website so that it actually functioned well.
- Build a solid website foundation that can grow with her business and remain relevant for years to come
- Refresh website copy to clearly communicate where Courtenay is today
- Refresh the website as her business grows and changes.
